TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of KIZUNA. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use KIZUNA. If you are between 13 and 17, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the service. KIZUNA is not intended for children under 13.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us at support@kizuna.soccer if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
4. Acceptable use
When using KIZUNA, you agree not to:
- Upload, post, or link to illegal content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
- Harass, threaten, dox, or incite violence against other users.
- Post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or other content prohibited by applicable law.
- Tag a player in a clip without a good-faith basis, or impersonate another person or team.
- Spam, phish, distribute malware, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security controls.
- Scrape, crawl, or build derivative datasets from the service without our written permission.
- Reverse-engineer the service except to the extent that law permits.
- Use the service to violate someone else's privacy or publicity rights.
We may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
“Your Content” means the material you add to KIZUNA: team information, match metadata, comments, reactions, player tags, coach-profile fields, messages, and the Veo recording links you connect to your matches. You keep all ownership rights in Your Content.
You grant KIZUNA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, and distribute Your Content within the service, and to make reasonable technical modifications (caching, formatting, thumbnailing) needed to operate and promote the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for (a) backups kept for a reasonable rolling window and (b) copies others have already saved within KIZUNA.
Much of Your Content is public by default. Profiles, teams, matches, highlight clips, comments, and tags are viewable by anyone on the internet. See section 4 of our Privacy Policy for details and how to reduce your public footprint.
You represent that you have the right to post Your Content and to tag the people named in it, and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or any law.
6. Veo recordings and third-party content
KIZUNA integrates with Veo to display match recordings and AI-generated highlights. We do not host the video ourselves. When you add a Veo match, we store the Veo link and metadata; the actual video and thumbnails stream from Veo's CDN directly to your browser.
- You must have the right to add and share each Veo recording you connect to KIZUNA.
- Veo's own terms and privacy policy govern the underlying video, your Veo account, and any access Veo grants you.
- If a recording is removed, restricted, or changed on Veo, it may disappear or behave differently on KIZUNA without notice.
- We make no guarantees about the availability, accuracy, or continued compatibility of the Veo integration.
7. Content from other users
Content posted by other users is their responsibility, not ours. We do not endorse or verify it. Report problems to support@kizuna.soccer.
8. Intellectual property
The KIZUNA name, logo, user interface, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
9. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on KIZUNA infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@kizuna.soccer including:
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The URL on KIZUNA where the allegedly infringing material appears.
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Because KIZUNA does not host the video, notices about Veo-hosted recordings should normally be sent to Veo. We will still remove the link from KIZUNA on a valid notice.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, or remove content, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content licence for already-shared copies, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the service will always be available, that data will never be lost, or that the Veo integration will continue to function.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KIZUNA and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold KIZUNA harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, provide in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
